Beachside Living at Trinity

There is a reason why they call Australia ‘the Lucky Country’ and whilst we may be a little bias here in the West, we also think WA is home to some of the world’s best beaches.

At Trinity at Alkimos, our residents are just a short drive to some amazing coastline and perfect swimming spots.

We share our favourite five:

1. Alkimos Beach

Alkimos Beach is a 3km stretch of coastline, predominantly sandy beach with a little bit of exposed rock further towards nearby Shorehave and Pipidinng Beach.

Due to the reef, waves are usually less than 1m. Alkimos Beach was also Australia’s first BeachSAFE beach and has a great Surf Life Saving Club.

The beach is accessible from both a southern and northern access path and there are parking facilities at each and is just a short drive from Trinity at Alkimos. In future, with the opening of our third village, residents will have direct access to the beach from the estate.

2. Yanchep Lagoon

Yanchep Lagoon is just 10kms from Trinity at Alkimos and features a stunning lagoon, protected by a reef which is just 20m from the shore. When the tide is out, the water is shallow with low waves making it a great place to snorkel or for younger children to swim.

There is a large carpark across the road from the beach and it is patrolled by a surf lifesaving club in Summer too.

The City of Wanneroo also has a beach wheelchair available for hire here.

3. Quinns Rocks

Quinns Rock is approximately 6km south of Alkimos and a beach enclosure has been installed there.

There is also a dog beach that forms part of Quinns Rock Beach, north of Tapping Way.

The City of Wanneroo also has a beach wheelchair available for hire here.

4. Mullaloo Beach

Mullaloo Beach is approximately 14km from Alkimos, and is a good beach for surfing.  Surfers usually head to the northern end of Mullaloo where waves tend to be highest, with higher waves also producing a right-hand surf break along Mullaloo Point.

5. Mindarie Marina

Mindarie Marina is approximately 10km south of Alkimos.

With a safe swimming beach and loads of restaurants and cafes, it is a lovely place to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.
